REGIONAL CAREER NETWORKS

The Regional Career Networks Coalition

Join the partners in your region and win the workforce grants you can't win alone.

The Coalition brings Nonprofits, Educators, Companies and Support Partners together in Regional Career Networks. Apply to join, and we will show you the RCN your organization fits into, or how to start one where you are.

Why partners join

Each partner type opens grant pools the others cannot.

Every workforce grant has two gates. The first is who you are: most funding pools only accept certain kinds of organizations as the applicant. Educator money needs an Educator, apprenticeship funding needs a registered apprenticeship sponsor, and some training funds run only through Companies. The second is what you do: each grant has its own list of the people, the sector, the region and the results it wants.

A Regional Career Network clears both gates. Each partner type opens grant pools the others cannot, and together the partners can deliver what each grant asks for. The partner who fits leads each grant, and the lead changes from grant to grant.

How the Coalition works

Regional Career Networks in several states go after grants together.

Your RCN is never on its own. The Coalition pursues grants at three levels, and each one stacks on the work already built in your region.

National

One application for RCNs in more than one state.

State

Several RCNs in one state apply together for state funding.

RCN

Your RCN applies for the grants in its own area.

What each partner does

Every partner does what it already does best.

Every partner signs an MOU that lists the steps it will take for the grant.
